After a long period of preparation, on-the-spot inspection and planning, the Muktir Bondhon Foundation volunteers launched a wildlife rescue operation with the "Wildlife Crime Control Unit, Banabhaban, Agargaon" in Purbadhala upazila of Netrokona district yesterday. During the night operation, 175 birds including rare Dahuk, Kalim, Kbura and blue dove were rescued from the houses of the bird hunters. Hundreds of cages and equipment used for bird hunting were destroyed. The rescued birds were released at Bangabandhu Safari Park.
