Who We Are?

Muktir Bondhon Foundation (MBF) is a non-profit, non-political, non-government humanitarian and development organization working to ensure the betterment for the poor and vulnerable community by protecting environment, creating provision of education, health, social safety, environmental safety and gender balance in Bangladesh. Initially, MBF started its activities in January 2015 with the support of some enthusiastic people like Md Iqbal Hossain and other potential social workers, educationists, business man and philanthropists. The legal status of MBF entails vide registration No. S-12877/2018 by the authority Certificates of Registration of Societies (under Act XXI of 1860) in Bangladesh. The organization is putting the best efforts to become a role model organization through caring for articulation and positive changes that represents socio-economic development of the poor needy, helpless and underprivileged people in the community. With the ground belief people are the driver of all solution, Muktir Bondhon Foundation (MBF) is engaging youth in conservation, disaster management, education, legal support for underprivileged people. Gradually MBF is expanding its activities in different areas of Bangladesh and covering major regions such as greater Mymensingh (all districts), Dhaka, Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar, Sunamgonj, Meherpur, Rajshahi and tri-bal districts. The vision of MBF is to ensure human benefit by ensuring protection of surrounding supports. The mission of MBF is a healthy happy human life with equal right for human and wildlife. The organization was established with a view to improve socio-economic status, capacity building, livelihood, health & nutrition, maternal & child health, education and providing humanitarian support at any emergency/crisis situation of the vulnerable, disadvantaged and destitute people in the community. Since it's inception, MBF has gained achievement through mobilization of multi sectoral issues & resources and implementation of various projects/program supported by organizational own fund, individual donation, CSR fund/Corporate donors. The objectives of MBF are to ensure the positive change of socio-economic condition for the marginalized and underprivileged community having long-term mission in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through implementation of innovative, sustainable development, humanitarian Projects/Programme and social inclusion & social business in Bangladesh.

Philosophy: The philosophy of MBF consists of our vision, mission and core values. Our mission describes the reason behind our existence. The vision describes our aspiration for such a situation for what the organization is working along with other actors.

Vision: Enhancing comprehensive community care and support to improve the socio-economic condition of the disadvantaged people as well as conservation of nature in Bangladesh.

Mission: Our mission is to provide multidimensional service delivery that caters to enhancing socio-economic development and overall well-being of the disadvantaged people along with nature through implementation of various projects/programs.

Goal: Our goal is to protect the nature, facilitate socio-economic development through advocacy, awareness, capacity building and humanitarian support of the disadvantaged segments of population in the community.

Core Values: Our core values articulate the enduring principles that guide our decisions and actions at every level of the organization. Our cardinal core values entail as
