We started a free hat on the first day of Ramadan in a village in Mymensingh. Our volunteers are operating the hat in compliance with the Covid-19 preventive hygiene rules. Volunteers have also been able to procure and transport vegetables directly from farmers' fields to save costs. Ishwarganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer inaugurated the activities of the hat. On the first day, 1000 kg of various vegetables and Iftar items were sold for free among hundreds of buyers. Although it was a Ramadan market, some of the buyers were followers of traditional religions.
The raw market is now full of adulteration. Where is the time to bring vegetables from the market and disinfect it again? So our volunteers are collecting fresh vegetables from the farmer's field. Which will be sold in the free market of Ramadan.
The reward is not for hope, nor is it for gratitude. The purpose of this free market in Ramadan is only to gain the satisfaction of the great Lord. On the second day of the free market, we were able to give free fish and fresh vegetables to 150 buyers, which our volunteers themselves collected from the farmers at a fair price. Due to limited capacity, many have had to return empty-handed, which is the cause of our grief! Mr. Md.
