Durga Puja is the biggest religious festival of the followers of Hinduism. In our Eid programs, we have seen the children of Hinduism staring at each other. In the corners of our minds, their faces were peeking out, so we tried our best to put a festive smile on their faces!
Father was suffering from an incurable disease and was undergoing treatment in Dhaka. The mother is engaged in the service of the sick father. On the one hand the absence of parents and on the other hand the lack of new clothes! The news of the young dirty faces reached the ears of our staff. They did not delay. Quickly new clothes, clothes, lungi and balloons carrying joy appeared to the children. How the children's faces are shining with joy!
Today, our Puja's Free Hat was sitting at the Pujo Mandapa of Khalbala Shivbari Mandir in Atharobari Union, Mymensingh District, with all the new glittering gifts! Ignoring the hostile weather, in the presence of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Zakir Hossain, we are happy to be able to arrange free shopping for more than 200 unemployed Hindu children, teenagers, and all ages.
